Marketing
company Below The Line wanted
a stylish online Product Catalogue
that could be the backbone of an email communication
strategy with their clients.
They wanted something with a bit of flair and
knew that support beyond the intitial design and
build was important to them. Using Adobe
Photoshop for image maniplation and optimisation
for the web, BTL are now reaping
the benefits of this project. |

Lightwave
7.5 - 3D Modelling |
The project was
to make a realistic 3D model of a small die-cast
model of this very sexy mountainbike.
Using Lightwave 7.0, this project
demonstrates 3D modelling techniques such as boolean
curves, extrusions, surface textures, scene lighting
and more to produce realistic still images of
the model in several environments. |

MX - Website and CD ROM |
The
MOTORway is an introduction to
a business systems package targetted at motor
vehicle dealers. Therefore a vehicle theme is
used with an interactive drive along a motorway,
each page being a different off-ramp with very
different experiences leading to each message
the client wished to get across.
Whilst initially developed for a CD ROM,
one of the major challenges was to keep files
sizes low enough so that the site could be used
for the web. |

This CD
ROM was developed to compliment the MOTORway
website (above) that would explain the features
and benefits of the MOTORway
product.
The idea behind the CD ROM was
introduce to the potential client via a cheerful
4-5 minute presentation the situations that they
will recognise as problems to the growth of their
business. And that solution to those problems
is the MOTORway.

Kim Taihuka of Well
Being Personal Trainers wanted a basic
website, had a neat logo and a few ideas. "The
rest I left up to Torque Multimedia,"
says Kim, "and within a day I received
some design options. The hardest part was choosing
which one - I liked them all!"
Currently serving as a tool for people to contact
Kim as he is overseas, this site will eventually
grow into a full-blooded dynamic content managed
site. "And I will be using Torque
Multimedia all the way!"

Lightwave
7.5 - Animation, Pro Tools, After Effects - Editing |
Demonstrating
3D Animation skills, combining a sound bite with
pre-supplied models to create a short animated
scene. Using Lightwave 7.5, this
project demonstrates morph target techniques (for
mouth, tongue and brow), boning movements (chin
and arm) and more.
The animation is further enhanced sound-wise by
the addition of sound effects tweaked using Pro
Tools and final movie editing using Adobe
After Effects.
This version has been compressed for web delivery
(still a 2mb movie). |

The
brief: Script, Storyboard, Film, Edit and Produce
a 45 second TVC.
This was achieved as a 1-man project in less than
2 weeks! We scripted the commercial to the client's
liking, then filmed on location. We then editted
the footage in Cinestream 5.0,
adding effects with After Effects
and including Flash animation
and 3D modelling of the logo. We even produced
the music!
The result: an adrenaline pumping commercial that
highlights what the buyer wants to see in the
product.

The Akarana
Golf Club realised in 2003 that the internet
could be a wonderful tool for them to communicate
with members and 'sell' the club to prospective
clients. Torque Multimedia became
their partner in making the most of it.
This extensive website provides information and
entertainment to both members and the general
golfer. The site includes areas where approved
staff of Akarana can change content
themselves (such as daily Course Conditions)
and is managed on an ongoin basis by us.
The amount of traffic this site gets is testiment
to its success since its launch. |

We
really got our teeth into this project when we
were first introduced to Macromedia Flash
MX. The brief was to create a website
in Flash that had at a depth of at least 4 pages.
Naturally, Torque went beyond that to create this
highly interactive site that includes multiple
SWF's on each page that communicate with each
other. This is not a live site, but would certainly
do the job if so. |

This website serves
the purpose of presenting the little known sport
of Disc Golf (or 'Frisbee Golf')
to New Zealanders and the world. It is very informative
and Torque Multimedia has taken
98% of the pictrues you see (and optimised them
in Photoshop).
This website has proven to be an invaluable communication
tool for overseas golfers intending to visit New
Zealand (the sport is very big in the US). Client

Sport couldn't be happier: "I cannot
imagine how we survived before Torque
built this site for us. I can edit information
myself and am proud to have my name to it" |

A
company that can supply just about any
Automatic Transmission ever made, Automatic
Transparts required a clean, easy to
navigate website that focused primarily on two
things - letting the visitor know that they have
come to the right place and allowing that visitor
to contact them, hence the Contact Forms on each
page relevant to the type of vehicle.
As with all Torque sites, www.automaticnz.co.nz
has been optimised for Search Engine
databases. |

When Rent
Plus Managing Director Mark Watson
realised his website was getting out of date and
needed a complete rebuild, Torque Multimedia
was his natural choice. "Rent Plus
was in the throes of implementing Torque
On Demand. I had seen some of the fine
work Torque Multimedia had done
and so I asked them to fire some design options
at me. I liked how Torque wouldn't stop until
I was happy with the look and feel - they listened

Masonry Homes are the New Zealand distributor
for AAC blocks - a fabulous alternative
to traditional building materials with many advantages.
Managing Director John Caldwell
knew it was time to get a website up and running
to help educate public and architects interested
in the product. "I'll happily admit I had
little time or knowledge to put towards a website

This website has
become the major tool for the Auckland
MTB Club to communicate with members
and public alike. The depth of information and
ease of navigation makes it second to none in
its field. Club President Geoff Olliff
